The Bridges Northern Team are responsible for a vast array of maintenance projects, rebuilding of specialist structures and a range of slope remediation projects including major crossings of the Great Dividing Range. The geographical area of the Bridges Northern Team ranges from as North as Tweed Heads, South to Port Macquarie, from the Eastern Coastline and inland to Gunnedah. ​​​​​​​

In this role, you'll:

Carry out all aspects of preparation and painting work, including safe application of industrial protective coatings per manufacturer specifications and TfNSW quality standards to various surfaces, including steel and timber.

You will perform a wide range of routine and complex labouring/manual tasks, including using a variety of small plant and powered and non-powered hand tools, to assist with the completion of work activities. Work is completed under limited supervision and may be done in a team environment or independently.

About you

You are trade qualified or have prior experience in industrial blasting & painting formed across similar environments, including experiences in application coatings with Airless Spray Units to DFT specs. These will see you excel in achieving project objectives in tight deadlines safely and efficiently.

You take pride in your work integrity and are recognised as a strong team player. You communicate clearly with a safety conscious approach to work from the outset.

You also:
• Willing and able to live away from home for periods of time
• Live within 100km of Ballina or Grafton depots
• Hold current Construction Industry White Card
• Current Class C driver licence (minimum P1)
• Willing to attain any additional licensing or ticketing requirements as legislated
