Painter I – Requirements & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
· Organize workflow to maintain balance between sanding and painting operations
· Perform paint booth setup and cleanup, including purging and filling lines
· Follow production schedules and load-date priorities
· Apply white primer and finish coats across all product lines
· Execute work based on daily work-to lists
· Support delegation of bulk production orders
· Maintain paint booth filtration and safety standards
· Control paint flow rates and ensure quality (no drips, runs, or defects)
· Produce high-quality final finish on all products (caps, decos, balusters, etc.)
· Strong understanding of paint application techniques and equipment
· Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
· Basic understanding of safety practices in a paint booth environment

Key Skills for Staffing Screening
· Industrial or production painting experience (spray systems, booth work)
· Experience with primer + finish coating systems
· Ability to meet production deadlines
· Strong attention to detail and quality control
