
Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a minimum of five years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of (5) years as a master painter preferred.
Essential Job Functions
Performs preparatory procedures on assigned projects and organizes time to assure all proper steps are taken to complete the project on time and in accordance with work order.
Paints in accordance with work orders.
Maintains an adequate supply of all materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the efficient completion of job responsibilities.
Ensures all safety requirements are observed and met.
Hangs wallpaper.
Performs basic sheetrock preparation, including taping, floating, and basic finishing.
Physical, Mental And Environmental Demands Must be able to maneuver around all areas of the casino. Must be able to regularly climb and work from a twelve (12) foot ladder. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
