With little down time on this job, you will be kept on your feet by grabbing your painting tools and adding a fresh coat of paint throughout the property, keeping it looking new and shiny.POSITION PURPOSE:Lend color to our painting team, and help keep our hotel looking fresh. With little down time on this job, you will be kept on your feet by grabbing your painting tools and adding a fresh coat of paint throughout the property, keeping it looking new and shiny.Monday - Friday (1st Shift) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Perform daily shift reports2. Document all calls in master computer log3. Follow all OSHA standards4. Maintain interior and exterior finishes5. Respond to guest calls and associate requests.6. Assist in performing PM on all FF&E7. Assist in cost control: Heat, Power, Light, Sewer and Water8. Repair, clean, touchup and or maintain but not limited to the following:a. All wall coverings and finishesb. Ceiling finishes and texturesc. Furniture, cabinetry, doors and woodworkd. Hvac air diffusers and grills9. Ensure appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniforms, and appearance are maintained10. Must be able to lift and transport 50# loads11. Must be able to work with ladders & scaffolding12. Represent the hotel with professionalism and decorum13. Make recommendations to his/her supervisor regarding improved methods and procedures so as to have a positive impact on guest/associate satisfaction.14. Attend all required Engineering Department and other meetings.15. Perform other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.2. Wood refinishing and painting experience required.3. CPR, OSHA 10, scaffold training certification required. Delete4. Previous carpentry and painting experience required.5. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as MSDS, safety awareness information, maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.6. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and associates7. Must be able to work as an independent painter8. Must be able to analyze problems, identify course of action and implement solutions.9. Represent the company in a courteous and well-groomed manner.10. Must be punched in, in uniform and ready for work as scheduled.11. Must be able to use and understand hand and power tools.12.
