Job Description


Prepare elevators for moving process. Assist Residents with maintenance needs in their apartments and perform maintenance repairs. Assist with the set up and breakdown of facility social functions.
Hang pictures for new move-ins. Hooks up cable, if requested.
Maintain and change light bulbs both inside and outside the facility.
Paint, perform repairs and keep common areas of building and outside of building and grounds in good repair.
Operate snow blower, shovel snow and salt outdoor areas to ensure safe walkways as soon as practical after a storm.
Assemble furniture for the community. Report resident requests for work (other than minor work) to the Director of Maintenance for direction and cost of proceeding.
Assist the Director of Maintenance in systems and preventative maintenance and repair as necessary.
Make duplicate keys.
Read all SDS sheets and takes all precautions necessary, including wearing proper PPR when handling chemicals. Maintains compliance with OSHA regulations.
Attend monthly in-services as appropriate for Maintenance Department.
Performs other duties and/or assists in other departments assigned by the Director of Maintenance, Executive Director, or Manager on duty.
