This position assists with many areas of commercial property maintenance and improvement to include building maintenance, painting and other projects and assignments. Paint walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces, using brushes, rollers, and spray guns. May remove old paint to prepare surface prior to painting. May mix colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepares and paints various surfaces including, but not limited to drywall, wall covering, and metal, concrete and wood surfaces
- Perform repairs to walls, doors, toilet partitions and other normal building surfaces
- Responsible for picking up materials from supplier on house accounts
- Capable of the following applications of product: brush and roll; spray; staining
- At times, use of ladders or lifts is required
- Assist with building maintenance
- Ensure vacant suites are made ready per company standards
- Ensure that all safety standards are maintained per company policy
- Maintain inventory as needed for cost effective operations.
- Complete grounds work as directed by Property Manager/Lead Tech which may include picking up trash, pressure washing, sweeping curb and dumpster areas.
- Make keys, change light bulbs, tighten fixtures, unclog toilets, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by Property Manager/Lead Maintenance Tech

Qualifications
Experience, Knowledge and Education:
- Working knowledge of material types and application
- Must have skilled ability in the hanging, floating, taping and finishing of drywall
- Experience in proper methods of prep and painting
- Three years related experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme conditions

- Successfully pass pre-employment screening.
