Paint Cell Leader
Afternoon Shift

We currently have 1 opening for Paint Cell Leader on Afternoon Shift.

The successful applicant will assist the Shift Supervisor with the smooth operation of the Paint Lines. This will include, starting and running of Paint Lines, training and documentation of training, continuous improvement efforts, fostering communication between all team members of the cell as well as various other duties. The Back up Paint Cell Leader must ensure the safety of all paint products and cell members and promote pride of workmanship and a positive team approach through leadership by example. *** Paint Cell Leaders may be required to perform Paint Operator duties upon request.***

Duties will include but not limited to;
• Ensure Paint Preventative maintenance schedule is maintained
• Ensure paint kitchen is clean and organized at all times
• Ensure that the paint area, paints are pre-mixed for on-coming shift
• Monitor paint inventory levels and paint waste levels and advise supervisor of low quantities or when paint waste needs to be removed
• Ensure all paint equipment in is good working condition
• Complete all paint trials and set spay patterns for new programs
• Ensure that all standard work instructions are being followed
• Perform First-off, In-Process, and Final inspection of production parts according to the inspection requirements
• First Aid Training Certification

You must be willing to work all shifts and overtime when required and fill in for this position with short notice.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $31.60 per hour + afternoon shift premium of $0.50/hour shift
