JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-PA-135206-2 Profession: Physician Assistant Specialty: PA - Pain Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Murrells Inlet, South Carolina Coverage Period: Nov 16, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Days, 7:30am – 4:30pm Shifts Per Week: 4 Number of Positions: 2 Reason for Coverage: Backfill FTE Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 18–20 patients per day Case Mix: Pain management follow-ups, new patient evaluations, medication management FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Supervising physician onsite 3 days per week for collaboration, consultation and clinical support Support Staff Available: Registered nurses, experienced support staff JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active South Carolina license and DHEC registration Other Qualifications: EPIC experience required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with registered nurses and supervising physician. Manage an average daily schedule of 18–20 patients, including follow-up visits and new patient evaluations. Develop and update individualized treatment plans. Provide medication management in accordance with clinical protocols and regulations. Document patient assessments, treatment decisions, and care plans accurately and promptly.
