
Baptist Health Pain Management Unit is seeking to hire a PRN RN. The registered nurse provides care for patients with acute and chronic pain. In this role, the registered nurse assists anesthesia physicians during procedures and ensures safe recovery post-procedure. Common treatments include epidural injections, trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and radio-frequency ablation, with some procedures involving conscious sedation.
The registered nurse implements the nursing process for patients across the lifespan and is accountable for care delivery in accordance with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies. This position promotes positive patient outcomes and quality care while supporting a collaborative practice environment through participation in shared governance. The nurse utilizes professional standards, critical thinking, and clinical judgment, collaborates with the interprofessional team, and demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Candidates must hold an active Kentucky RN license, maintain current BCLS certification. ACLS preferred. One year of perioperative nursing experience is preferred.
