The Paid Social Manager is the key support resource for Core’s clients in managing
paid promotional campaigns through social media platforms. The Paid Social Manager
will collaborate with respective teams to develop strategy for paid social promotions
and will be responsible for setting up, optimizing, and reporting on social campaigns.
2+ years digital buying experience is essential as well as excellent knowledge of social
platforms and optimization techniques for social campaigns. (Facebook, Twitter,
Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok).
The roles require strong collaboration and communication with the wider Media Teams
& Investment teams within Core. A crucial element of this role is the candidate must be
consistent in delivering the highest standard output.
Responsibilities
The role of Paid Social Manager owns the responsibility to manage, assist in planning,
implement, and optimise a variety of our clients paid campaigns across all social media
channels. Included in this is the use of digital ad billing tools to bridge the gap between
client and supplier.
This role is central to the efficient and effective running of the day-to-day digital
service including ownership of paid social campaigns, capturing data insights,
identifying social trends, timely and accurate billing, and working with the team to
deliver innovation.
The Paid Social Manager will work closely with the Media Planning teams and
Investment teams, and will manage the delivery of the paid social campaign, and will
ensure that it is aligned with the overall media rationale. This will all be delivered
accurately and by adhering to processes as outlined in our ways of working.
AGENCY PERFORMANCE
• Ownership of paid social campaigns, working closely with The Media Planning
team and all central teams to ensure efficient delivery of the media buying
process
• Management of digital buying campaigns from start to end, project managing
the campaign.
• Supporting Media Teams and with client queries, quality assurance for high
performance coordinating reports, and ensuring campaigns are billed
• Monitors the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats,
channels, and technologies to improve campaign performance and provide
recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services
• Collaborates with internal practices to influence clients’ social media goals and
client deliverables. Keeps internal team informed of status on all campaigns by
issuing timely and accurate performance reporting.
• Develops campaign structure and sets-up campaigns within social platforms
while identifying, recording, and implementing optimizations
• Analyse and understand social platform data and use the this to provide insights
and identify clear actions to be taken
• Develop an understanding of each practice and central team within Core and
what it contributes to the plan
• Create and project manage post campaign reviews for clients
• Responsibility in making sure a campaign goes live
• Helping prep media presentations
• Adopt and embrace an accuracy culture by having and supporting excellent
attention to detail
COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE
• Responsibility for accurate billing to clients and suppliers at the end of each
month ensuring all billing is 100% accurate and on time
• Understanding Core processes and applies this to day-to-day activity
• Ensure timesheets are updated weekly and that they accurately reflect the time
spent on our client’s business
• Be instrumental in building out efficiencies and processes in the Social Team,
working with the wider Investment Teams and other agencies.
• Ensure consistency in Quality Assurance across all social campaigns and are
delivered 100% accurately.
TALENT MANAGEMENT
• Deepening understanding of all media by committing to the internal
training Core Learning programme(s) and regularly attend training for your
development
• Developing understanding of client business, their Key Business Priorities for
the year and play a role in creating the strategies to deliver against them
• Ensure close collaboration with Paid Social Client Director so that they are
enabled to actively assist your development and to ensure the consistent
delivery of the highest standard of agency output
• Ensure a strong comprehension and commitment to your career development
plan in line with your 360 appraisals, quarterly catch ups and goals
