We're hiring a Paid Social Director (B2B) as part of our London team.

This role is pivotal in shaping B2B paid social strategy, driving commercial outcomes for clients and leading a high-performing team to deliver best-in-class execution across complex, enterprise accounts.

Purpose of the Role

The Paid Social Director is responsible for leading senior client relationships, owning B2B paid social strategy and ensuring excellence in execution through their team.

Sitting between the Paid Social Manager and Partner, this role translates strategic direction into market-specific B2B plans, builds robust testing roadmaps and drives high-performing, efficient delivery across the full B2B funnel.

You will be accountable for ensuring your accounts deliver against commercial performance goals, including pipeline contribution and demand generation, while maintaining high standards across planning, activation and team development.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Strategic Ownership:

  • Acting as the senior day-to-day lead for B2B clients, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and demonstrating a deep understanding of their commercial objectives and buying environments.

  • Owning the development of B2B paid social strategy across your accounts, aligned to client business goals, target industries and buying committee structures.

  • Translating strategic briefs into actionable B2B media plans that reflect audience behaviour across long and complex sales cycles.

  • Providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients, with a focus on demand generation, pipeline influence and full funnel performance.

Planning, Testing & Innovation:

  • Developing and owning testing roadmaps that drive continuous improvement across B2B-specific areas including audience segmentation by job function and seniority, account-based marketing approaches and funnel stage optimisation.

  • Identifying new opportunities across platforms, formats and audience strategies relevant to professional and enterprise audiences.

  • Ensuring learnings are captured, shared and scaled across campaigns and accounts.

  • Championing a test-and-learn culture within the team, with a focus on what drives measurable B2B commercial impact.

Performance & Delivery Oversight:

  • Overseeing campaign planning and execution to ensure delivery against B2B-relevant KPIs, including MQL and SQL volumes, cost-per-lead and pipeline contribution.

  • Driving performance optimisation through strong use of data and insights, connecting paid social activity to CRM and marketing automation outcomes where applicable.

  • Ensuring high standards across campaign quality, reporting and financial management.

  • Supporting forecasting and performance tracking across your accounts, translating complex data into clear, commercial narratives for senior client stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Excellence:

  • Leading and developing Paid Social Managers and Executives, ensuring strong delivery, clear expectations and ongoing professional growth.

  • Overseeing workload management and resource allocation within your team.

  • Fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performing team culture with B2B expertise at its core.

Collaboration & Integration:

  • Working closely with the Paid Social Partner to align account strategy with wider B2B priorities and capabilities.

  • Partnering with cross-channel teams including Client Services, Strategy, Data and other Paid Media disciplines to deliver integrated B2B solutions.

  • Supporting Total Social integration across Paid, Organic and Creator activity where relevant to B2B client objectives.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Significant experience in paid social within an agency or client-facing environment, with a proven focus on B2B campaign delivery.

  • Proven ability to lead senior client relationships and develop strategic recommendations that connect paid social to commercial outcomes.

  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn Campaign Manager and its B2B targeting capabilities, supported by experience across Meta for demand generation and retargeting within B2B strategies.

  • Strong grasp of B2B marketing principles, including funnel design, account-based marketing, lead qualification, nurture flows and CRM integration.

  • Experience working across complex or enterprise B2B accounts with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Proven track record of delivering against B2B performance metrics including CPL, MQL, SQL and pipeline contribution.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear client narratives.

  • Experience managing and developing teams.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on oversight of execution.
