Your Role

As Director, you will lead the strategic direction of our social media practice,overseeinga portfolio of key clients and ensuring we deliver integrated, future-facing social solutions.

You will help define best practices, elevate the quality of our work, and inspire teams to think beyond campaign execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational excellence and who leads with empathy, structure, and confidence.

What You Will Do

Lead the strategic direction ofSocial Media

Define how social media contributes to clients' businessobjectivesacross the customer journey. Ensure our recommendations reflect the latest platform capabilities, consumerbehaviours, and industry trends.

Guide and grow the team

Coach and develop consultants acrossdifferent levelsof experience, helping them strengthen both their technicalexpertiseand leadership capabilities. Foster a culture of ownership, feedback, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Drive operational excellence

Improve processes, delivery standards, forecasting, and collaboration within the team. Create structures that enable high-quality execution while supporting sustainable growth.

Be a trusted advisor to clients

Lead senior client conversations, translate business challenges into social opportunities, and provide clear recommendations that connect media investment to commercial impact. Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Champion integrated collaboration

Work closely with Client Leadership, Strategy, Analytics, Creative, and specialist teams to ensure social media is effectively embedded within broader marketing strategies.

Support commercial success

Oversee resource planning, staffing, and scoping across your client portfolio. Ensure teams are set up for success while balancing quality, efficiency, and profitability.

Drive innovation and capability building

Identifyopportunities to test emerging platforms, formats, creator partnerships, social commerce solutions, and AI-enabled approaches. Encourage knowledge sharing and elevate the team's socialexpertise

Your Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in social media, ideally within an agency environment;

  • Strongexpertiseacross paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Reddit;

  • Deep understanding of how social media supports brand building and performanceobjectivesacross the funnel;

  • Proven ability to develop social strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes;

  • Confident leading senior client conversations and presenting clear, compelling recommendations;

  • Experience managing, mentoring, and inspiring teams;

  • Comfortable balancing strategic vision with hands-on guidance whenrequired;

  • Strongorganizationalskills and the ability to bring clarity in complex environments;

  • Fluent in English. Dutch is a strong advantage.
