ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for a Paid Media Manager who will own the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of member-based paid media campaigns across programmatic, social, and app channels.
This role is equal parts strategy and execution. You will work backwards from member needs and business goals to build scalable campaign frameworks, develop segmentation and targeting strategies, and drive measurable improvements in engagement and retention. You will serve as a central point of coordination across marketing, product, content, and analytics teams. You will manage complex timelines and budgets, and deliver results with high quality and operational rigor.
This role requires thinking big about what member engagement can look like, while diving deep into the data, the ad-serving mechanics, and the day-to-day execution that makes it real. It demands a strong bias for action, a track record of inventing and simplifying campaign workflows, and the ability to earn trust across a diverse set of stakeholders. Ownership extends beyond individual campaigns to the outcomes they drive.
As a Paid Media Engagement Marketing Manager, you will…
- Own the end-to-end delivery of member-based paid media campaigns (programmatic, social, app), supporting member engagement, gifting and potential loyalty programs
- Work backwards from business objectives and member insights to develop customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies that improve campaign relevance and performance
- Serve as the central project owner across cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, product, content, analytics), proactively managing timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and contingency plans to ensure SLA compliance
- Dive deep into campaign performance data; surface actionable insights, deliver clear recommendations, and implement continuous optimization cycles
- Champion a test-and-learn culture — design experiments, define KPIs, and measure incrementality to inform future strategy
- Invent and simplify by proactively leveraging Amazon's AI tools (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing) and emerging ad technologies to streamline campaign production, automate workflows, and improve marketing effectiveness
- Stay current on best practices across performance media, emerging channel capabilities, and industry trends; advocate for adoption where they raise the bar for our members
- Identify and drive process improvements across end-to-end campaign workflows, removing friction and increasing speed-to-market
