Saint Luke's South Rehab Institute is seeking a PAI Coordinator.
Part-time, 20 hours per week. 8-4:30 M and T. 8-12:00 Wed. No weekends.
Responsible for the accurate and timely collection, documentation and transmission of the IRF-PAI document to CMS through the UDS software program. Oversees all aspects of data collection for the IRF-PAI. Ensures supporting documentation of the IRF-PAI is present in the medical record.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the CMS regulations for the IRF-PAI. Collaborates with physicians and coding to support medical necessity. Collaborates with Education Department to ensure therapy, nursing and care progression are educated on IRF-PAI.
Continuous monitoring and real time feedback on IRF-PAI documentation entered in medical record by the team.
Collaboration with Epic builders to optimize IRF-PAI documentation.
Collects and reports on data from UDS as determined by management.
Follows and prepares team for CMS updates or changes
Participates in quality initiatives.
May participate in patient care.
Demonstrates leadership and strong communication skills.
Required: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy or nursing licensure.
Travel between entities required.
