PURPOSE OF CONSULTANCY
The Organization utilizes Workday as its enterprise ERP platform supporting Human Capital Management (HCM), Financial Management, and enterprise operations. Given the sensitivity of personnel and financial data, effective governance of security configuration and enterprise reporting is critical to safeguarding organizational assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining audit readiness.
This function supports oversight of Workday security architecture and reporting integrity to mitigate operational, compliance, and segregation-of-duties (SoD) risks while enabling secure, data-driven decision-making.
Purpose of the Assignment
The Workday Security & Reporting Configuration and Administration function ensures:
• Implementation and maintenance of least-privilege access controls
• Ongoing SoD monitoring and mitigation
• Secure and compliant enterprise reporting
• Alignment with internal governance frameworks and audit standards
The role serves as a control point between business operations and IT governance, ensuring Workday remains secure, compliant, and operationally reliable.
OF DUTIES:
Scope of Work
A. Workday Security Administration
- Review and recommend security configuration changes
- Configure and maintain security domains, business process security policies, and role-based security groups
- Administer user-based and role-based access assignments
- PMIS delegations support and BPs reassignments when necessary
- Monitor and manage Segregation of Duties (SoD) risks
- Support periodic access reviews and recertification cycles
- Maintain security documentation and configuration standards
- Provide Workday Administration support as needed. Use in-tenant monitoring and performance tools to identify performance issues and maintain system health.
B. Enterprise Reporting
- Develop and maintain Advanced, Matrix, and Dashboard reports
- Configure report-level security to ensure appropriate data visibility
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions
- Support scheduled reporting, data validation, and troubleshooting
- Ensure reporting outputs align with audit and compliance standards
C. Governance, Compliance, and Sustainment
- Support internal and external audit activities
- Participate in Workday release impact analysis and testing
- Respond to security and reporting service requests
- Maintain up-to-date SOPs and configuration documentation
- Ensure tenant configurations remain aligned with evolving governance policies
4. Key Deliverables
- Secure and optimized security role configuration
- Documented and monitored SoD controls
- Reliable, business-aligned enterprise reports
- Completed quarterly access reviews and recertifications
- Audit-ready documentation and timely audit support
Qualifications
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution with a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in information systems.
Experience
- 4–7 years of hands-on Workday Security configuration experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Dashboard)
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance principles
- Experience supporting internal and external audit processes
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Language Skills
Fluency in English, working knowledge in Spanish desirable.
Salary: Band B of International PAHO Consultant (IPC-Band B)(range $5,160 - $$6,280)
Duty Station: Washington D.C. (Off-site, remote)

Duration: Until 30 September 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance and the availability of funds.
