This role is responsible for leading a broad range of complex supply chain processes for a large global business unit. The role improves current business processes and performance metrics by leading cross-functional global business unit planning teams, and identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. The role manages special projects and communicates requirements to the global business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a broad range of complex supply chain processes, including logistics planning and execution, import/export operations, and carrier management and operations planning, for the business unit.
  • Independently execute end-to-end delivery planning activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying risks, issues and business impact.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize backlog management and align operational priorities with business objectives.
  • Partner with global business partners to deliver projects on time and in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Define, monitor and review key performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement actions to address.
  • Manage high-priority projects by contributing creative insights and developing data-driven recommendations.
  • Communicate planning requirements, standards, and guidelines to the global business unit planning teams to ensure consistency and execution.
  • Leads and manages a regulatory trade compliance program, ensuring adherence to global trade regulations and internal policies.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
