  • Mentoring and coaching programs by occupational therapists
  • OT Practice 101 - Topic modules delivered in a group setting with our Head of Clinical Practice.

  • Orientation and session shadowing with highly skilled occupational therapists
  • We provide individualised learning and development plans which are frequently reviewed by your supervising occupational therapist.
  • We provide frequent individual supervision and mentoring.
  • Have opportunities for co-treating with our Head of Clinical Practice. This will help develop your confidence and hands-on clinical skills.

As a member of the team you will:

  • Full administration support including assistance with managing your diary & appointments and documentation, so you can focus on learning and delivering quality therapy sessions.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy - Qualified Occupational Therapy role.
  • NDIS worker screener (Service NSW) or willingness to obtain one
  • Working with Children Check (Service NSW) or willingness to obtain one.
  • National Police Check (Criminal History Check)
  • AHPRA Registered or eligible for registration prior to commencement.
  • Be eligible to apply for a Medicare and Private Health provider number or willing to apply.
  • Current member of OT Australia or willing to join
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence & have a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; be able to relate to children and be playful.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Have a good work ethic & take pride in your work
  • Enjoys working with children

Grace Children’s Therapy is a professional service providing innovative and practical therapy for children that have a disability or learning difficulty. We provide individually tailored therapy sessions for each child. We work in consultation with parents, teachers, schools, teacher-aids, child-care centres/pre-schools and other allied health professionals to ensure therapy transitions across all environments.
