We are currently seeking a Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist to join a dedicated healthcare team in Scotland This is an exciting opportunity to work with a children and young people caseload, supporting a diverse range of communication and language needs in a community setting.
You will play a key role in the assessment, diagnosis, and delivery of therapy interventions for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), helping them achieve their full potential across home, educational, and community environments.
This is a flexible role suitable for an experienced therapist who is confident working independently and collaboratively within a wider multi-disciplinary team.
In this role, you will:
Manage a varied paediatric community caseload of children and young people with communication and language difficulties.
Provide specialist assessment, intervention, and advice tailored to individual needs.
Liaise closely with families, schools, and other professionals to deliver coordinated care.
Maintain high-quality, timely clinical records in accordance with HCPC and local NHS policies.
Participate in service planning and contribute to the development of best practice in the team.
To be considered, you must have:
A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
Current HCPC registration
Proven experience working with a paediatric caseload, ideally in a community setting
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
