Role Overview
The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily packaging operations, ensuring products are packed efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards. This role manages a team of packaging staff, maintains productivity targets, and ensures compliance with workplace safety and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate packaging operations to meet production and shipment schedules.
• Lead, train, and monitor packaging staff to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures.
• Ensure products are packed correctly, labelled accurately, and meet quality standards.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Implement and maintain efficient packaging processes to improve productivity.
• Conduct regular quality checks and resolve any packaging or labelling issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
• Prepare reports on packaging output, performance, and operational issues.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Proven experience in a packaging, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory tracking.
• Must have valid and permanent work rights in Singapore (e.g., Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident).
