Job Description

Mulgowie Farming Company is one of the largest and most respected horticultural businesses in Australia, specializing in the growing, packing and marketing of fresh produce for domestic and export markets. We are currently seeking self-motivated and experienced industrial Cleaners to maintain high quality cleaning standards of our food processing facility.

Based at MULGOWIE, reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for cleaning the food production line in the packing shed. The start time for this role is generally 7:00pm.

Qualifications:

• Open to applicants in Australia with valid working rights.

You will be required to:

• Follow the cleaning schedule and shed cleaning checklist.
• Follow safe work instructions and cleaning workflows.
• Measure the concentration of cleaning chemicals.
• Follow Mulgowie cleaning processes and procedures to meet GMP standard.
• Preparedness to work afternoon shifts across a seven-day spread as dictated by seasonal influences.
• Lead the team on shifts where the Cleaning Supervisor is not present.
• Be responsible for the correct processes and procedures being followed.

Experience and skills required:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Previous industrial cleaning experience in a food manufacturing facility
• Experience in Chemical Handling
• Superior organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• Current Chem Cert highly regarded.
