About the Role:

ThePackeris responsible forensuring finished products are properly packaged to customerspecification

• Working at the end of the production line packaging the tea that is being produced from the different machines.
• Ensures the product meets all aspects of the customer specifications to the highest possible quality standard.
• Checks for material quality defects in tea bags, cartons, envelopes, and overwrap.
• Checks for operational quality defects i.e. excess or incorrect gluing, machine damage to cartons or alignment issues.
• Checks all coding, labelling to ensure legible and correct.
• Adheres to all hygiene standards as of the company policy and ensure that areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of each shift.
• Adheres to all Health and Safety guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Lead or Line Manager.

Important Details:

• This is a full-time permanent role on the2ndshift, Monday through Friday, with someweekends as needed Overtime may be available, depending on the needs of the business.Theanticipatedstarting wage rangefor this position is$17.55per hour plus$0.60shift differential.

You’ll fit right in if you have:

• Minimum high school education or GED Equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Ability to work in a climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours per day.
• Routinelylift upto 25 pounds from waist to chest level.
