This position supports site Operations through the accurate printing, control, staging, and movement of production labels and related materials. The Label Control team works closely with Packaging, Operations, Warehouse, Quality, and other site functions to ensure materials are available to support the production schedule while maintaining cGMP and site procedural requirements.
As a Packaging/Labeling Technician, you will help ensure Site Operations have the correct labels and materials available when needed to support safe, compliant, and efficient production. Your attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple activities, and flexibility in responding to changing production schedules will contribute directly to site performance and product quality.
Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, warehouse, material handling, or related environment.
Preferred: Experience with SAP or another enterprise resource planning/inventory management system.
Preferred: Experience with label control, material handling, packaging operations, warehouse operations, or production support.
Preferred: Experience working in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.
This position is performed in a manufacturing and material-handling environment and requires regular physical activity throughout the workday.
The employee may be required to stand and walk for extended periods; frequently bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements; and lift, carry, or move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
The position may require the use of carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment. Employees must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all applicable site safety requirements.
