
Richardson Oilseed Products US, a division of Richardson International operates a state-of-the-art oil packaging facility in Memphis, TN where it refines and packages one of the United States’ most recognized brands of canola and vegetable cooking oils, Wesson Oil.

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Packaging Technician at our Memphis, TN facility. The hourly wage for this position is $22.45 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Follow all safety requirements, company policies, and workplace procedures.
Work safely by using PPE, following procedures, applying hazard controls, and reporting incidents or unsafe conditions.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment and control systems.
Set up equipment, maintain material supply, and keep processes within required parameters.
Perform quality checks, visual inspections, and document results.
Report equipment issues and assist with preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
Complete logs and paperwork accurately and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, with the ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and follow instructions.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.
Experience in a high-speed industrial environment, industrial technology, LEDS systems, or forklift operation is an asset.
Must be able to work in warm to hot conditions, stand and walk for long periods, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all company policies and procedures.
