What Will You Enjoy Doing

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with Shift Supervisor the packaging needs on production equipment
  • Ensures all lines are adequately supplied with materials needed. For example:
    • Foil
    • Cartons
    • Trays
    • etc.
  • Assists Packaging Operators as needed to ensure a smooth workflow
    • Setup and operate multiple types of packaging equipment. Equipment may include, but is not limited to: carton erectors, partition inserters, product inserters, top closers, palletization equipment
  • Ensures labels correctly match the product in facilities where manual labeling is required
  • Manage and assign break schedule for packers
  • Support troubleshooting and training initiatives for Packers
  • Audit packer standard work and completion
  • Audit packer quality checks and completion

  • Completion of staffing report for packer staff
  • Completion of package paperwork
  • Updated and completion of packer training documentation

What Makes You Great

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of Packaging Operator experience preferred
  • Some lead experience preferred
  • Good mechanical skills
  • Capable of lifting 25 pounds and standing for a minimum of 12 hours
  • Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously
