Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other engineering discipline

5+ years of experience

We are looking for a Packaging Specialist Manager manage execution of Packaging related projects and initiatives at factory level in line with corporate packaging policies in terms of quality, safety and compliance.

A day in the life of...

  • Accountable to lead product, the process and packaging innovations for the factory.
  • Accountable to lead technical releases for the factory and ensure the product.
  • compliance by design (quality, food safety and regulatory).
  • Responsible to drive new products development procedures and guidelines. Also responsible to drive change management as resulting from New Product.
  • Development innovations in factory and ensure the development of products that meet 60/40+ in all product categories as defined by Business Unit in the brief.
  • Need to assess the competencies of the team of technologists, manufacturing specialists and technicians in factory using skill matrix.
  • Ensure to develop a training needs analysis and training plans to develop a competency of the teams.
  • Need to improve existing products and packaging solutions.
  • Responsible for recipe management, knowledge on ingredients and ingredients substitutions.
  • Need to have Process Mastership by having responsibility to improve existing processes (with Engineering & IP), especially for the establishment of temporary and final labor standards for existing and new products.
  • Responsible to support manufacturing strategy development.
  • Ensure the database management and technical documentation are efficiently establish and need to update the documents in products files particularly of Regulatory templates, Halal certificates, Raw and packaging material specifications, Semi-finished goods specifications, Inter market Supply (IMS) briefs and Accurate maintenance of data in systems (GLOBE, SAP-RM, NPDI, etc…)

What Will Make You Successful

  • Had an academic experience in min of Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Technology.
  • Had an experienced in operational for 5 years in manufacturing / R&D role in food business.
  • Have project management capabilities in managing project portfolio in several areas competing for resources and Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams.
