As a Packaging Intern at Nestlé NPTC Nutrition, your mission is to support the development and validation of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with packaging experts, laboratory technicians, and cross-functional R&D teams.

This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a packaging laboratory environment while contributing to real technical projects across a diverse product portfolio.

How you’ll make an impact as a Packaging Intern

  • Support laboratory analyses on packaging materials and deliver accurate results with clear reporting
  • Contribute to packaging development projects, ensuring compliance with sustainability and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in equipment management and calibration, maintaining an organized and efficient lab environment
  • Develop and update operating procedures, instructions, and guidelines for lab activities
  • Collaborate with experts to leverage new technologies and digital tools in your daily work

What will make you successful

  • Student or recent graduate with a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and write reports
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a laboratory setting
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Suite; knowledge of CAD tools like SolidWorks is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
  • Demonstrating curiosity, proactivity, and continuous learning mindset
