Packaging Specialist – End-of-Line Solutions Greater St. Louis & Western Illinois Territory

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an ambitious Packaging Specialist to drive new business development and manage key accounts across the greater St. Louis and Western Illinois markets. This is a hunter role for someone who loves the chase, builds lasting relationships, and thrives on delivering measurable ROI to customers.

In this position, you’ll:

  • Prospect and develop new accounts in strategic end markets while nurturing existing relationships.
  • Conduct on-site needs assessments, propose tailored end-of-line solutions (marking/coding, automation, case packing, palletizing, etc.), and build compelling proposals backed by ROI analysis.
  • Become a trusted advisor who helps customers lower their total cost of ownership through equipment, consumables, and technical services.
  • Work with top-tier vendors and participate in ongoing training to stay at the forefront of packaging technology.
  • Enjoy significant autonomy as a self-starter who owns their territory and results.

This role includes regular travel within the territory (with some overnight stays as needed) to deliver hands-on value.

What You Bring

  • Proven high-caliber prospecting and consultative sales experience (packaging sales background strongly preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong character, independence, problem-solving skills, and a high-energy, positive mindset.
  • Self-motivation and discipline to hit goals and update CRM daily.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory.
