The Flex Line Packaging Operator supports production by operating packaging equipment and performing hand-packing and case-stacking duties. This role rotates between stations in the packaging area and ensures product quality, safety, and efficiency.You will add value by performing the following duties but not limited to:
Set up,operate, and adjust packaging equipment, including Case Former, Tri-Sealer, Box Erector, Print & Apply, mixers,chunker, slurry mixer, and pallet jacks after training
Prepare andmaintaina clean, organized, and safe work area
Monitor production data, control points, and recipes;make adjustmentsas needed to ensure quality and efficiency
Scale and load ingredients into mixers and refeed scrap dough as necessary
Perform hand-packing, case stacking, and Operator Care duties (e.g., cleaning vacuum,monitoringlard and dough temperatures)
Follow all Quality, GMP, SQF, 5S, and Safety policies and procedures
Lift up to 50+lbsasrequiredand performadditionalduties, including Autonomous Maintenance (AM), as assigned
Confirm dough process orders andmaintainaccuratemeasurements and production records
This position pays $21.33 per hour during the 75-day probationary period and up to $23.70 per hour after successful completion of the 75-day probationary period. Shift premium of $1.00 per hour.
ImportantDetails:This is a full-time permanent role on 2ndshift, which operates from 3:00pm-11:30pmMonday through Fridaywith some Saturdays
