Packaging & Office Technician

Pay: $18.50 to $21.00

Schedule: Day Shift - Monday-Wednesday 6:00am - 6:30pm, Thursday 6:00am-10:00am, Fri-Sun Scheduled Off

The Packaging & Office Technician is responsible for the dual execution of high-standard packaging operations and the strategic coordination of departmental activities. Reporting to the site leadership, you will ensure all finished products meet technical specifications while assisting in scheduling, data analysis, and cross-departmental communication to maintain seamless day-to-day operations. This role is critical to driving efficient workflow, resource utilization, and product integrity within a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate packaging machinery within specified efficiency and productivity standards based on formulation and packaging capabilities.

  • Perform packaging evaluation checks and maintain accurate documentation to ensure all products comply with site standards and food safety requirements.

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment that promotes associate safety and product integrity.

  • Execute equipment adjustments and preventative maintenance while strictly adhering to the Master Sanitation Schedule, including lockout/tag out protocols.

  • Collect and analyze data related to production and inventory to prepare dashboards and reports tracking KPIs.

  • Identify potential workflow bottlenecks and escalate issues to management to support forecasting and capacity planning.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of operational processes and provide administrative support for departmental meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining operational schedules and plans to ensure efficient resource utilization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience within manufacturing, technical, or trade disciplines.

  • Must be able to safely operate a forklift, as needed.

  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate in the English language.

  • Demonstrated ability to use Google Suite for data and administrative tasks.

  • Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules.

  • Ability to stand on concrete floors for extended periods; perform bending, stooping, and lifting up to 55 lbs; and adapt to environmental extremes including dust and chemicals.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience operating a variety of industrial machines.

  • Foundational knowledge of inventory control principles.

  • Previous experience working with personal protective equipment (PPE) in a regulated environment.


Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $18.50 - $21.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
