Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Packing & Loading Operator to join our cement manufacturing operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating cement packing machines, bulk loading systems, and automated palletizing/loading equipment (Caricamat or similar systems) while ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted dispatch operations. The role also involves routine equipment inspections, preventive maintenance support, quality control, and accurate shift documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cement packing machines and ensure smooth packing plant operations.
• Operate and monitor bulk cement loading systems for tanker dispatch.
• Operate automated palletizing and loading systems (Caricamat or equivalent) for bagged cement dispatch.
• Monitor truck loading activities to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.
• Conduct quality inspections on filled cement bags, pallets, and loading equipment.
• Perform physical weight verification of cement bags and monitor date printer accuracy.
• Identify equipment abnormalities and report operational issues promptly.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance (PM) activities related to production equipment.
• Support cement mill preventive maintenance (PM) and shutdown (SD) maintenance activities.
• Maintain loading notes, inventory records, daily production reports, shift handover logs, and export shipment tracking records.
• Monitor machine sequences and ensure smooth operation of conveyors, packers, and loading systems.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to achieve production and dispatch targets.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the packing plant and loading area.
• Strictly comply with company HSE policies, permit-to-work requirements, and operational procedures.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, ITI, Technical Diploma, or equivalent.
• Certification in mechanical or industrial operations is an advantage.
