Overview of this Position:

Oversee the execution of Packaging tasks and attainment of departmental goals, while assisting Packaging Technicians and Packaging Contractors. Responsible for operating and leading all Labeling and Packaging lines, Terminal Wash, PFA Operations, directing operators. Provide direction, leadership, and communication during routine production under the guidelines of established procedures and cGMP regulations with guidance from Supervisor and Management.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

  • 1+ years relevant experience Knowledge of QA principles and procedures in a pharma, biopharma, and/or biotech manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in packaging of regulated products with a thorough understanding of cGMP, FDA guidelines and multinational regulatory standards.
  • Knowledgeable of GMP standards and the ability to follow CFR guidelines.
  • Available for overtime/weekend work, as needed.
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide direction and support to the packaging team to ensure cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the operational areas and equipment.
  • Support the training process, procedures, and records for labeling and packaging.
  • Communicate effectively with manufacturing and quality assurance to prioritize Finishing schedules.
  • Review Master Batch Records and support documentation such as logs and forms, ensuring compliance with GDPs.
  • Perform material transactions within GRAM’s electronic inventory system, QAD.
  • Participate in quality investigations with regards to labeling and packaging.
  • Assist personnel in troubleshooting, prevention, and resolution of quality events.
  • Participate in problem solving, conflict management, performance evaluations and 1 on 1 meetings as needed.
  • Ensure contemporaneous and accurate documentation during execution of GMP operations.
  • Clearly communicate direction to packaging and cross-functional teams.
  • Assume responsibility of respective shift in the absence of supervision.
  • Participate in client communications, including problem solving, schedule development, and project status updates.
