Education:MS/BS Industrial Designer, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree is a requirement.

Experience: +3 years experience in a Packaging Engineering position.

Technical Knowledge:

• Advanced English language skills
• ASTM/ISTA standards
• Continuous improvement
• Moderate to advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Packaging & Labeling requirements for the Connectivity business unit.
• Management of business unit Packaging & Labeling program.
• Maintain, develop & design packaging and labeling requirements. Develop & design work includes establishing engineering specifications, creating component bill of materials when required.
• Packaging & Labeling materials selection.
• Coordinate manufacturing improvement programs in all related fields.
• Develop test program for packaging damage control per ASTM/ISTA standards.
