Job Description

We are seeking a Packaging Designer to join a dynamic and collaborative packaging design team supporting multiple well-established consumer brands in the toys industry. This is an exciting opportunity to design innovative, eye-catching, and functional packaging that stands out on shelves and resonates with diverse target markets. Youll influence all consumer-facing design initiatives in the packaging department for designated brandsmaking a meaningful impact on product perception and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative packaging systems, both structural and graphical
  
  
• Conceptualize ideas and translate them into detailed sketches, prototypes, and digital designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding marketing, product development, and global partnersto ensure consistent brand messaging
• Create and modify packaging die line templates
• Prepare high-quality mock-ups and design submissions for internal and licensor approvals
• Stay updated with current packaging and toy industry trends to inform design choices
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for ongoing and upcoming projects
• Ensure packaging meets brand standards, compliance, and manufacturing guidelines
  
  

Our ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of experience in packaging design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Experience working with style guides and mockups
• Strong knowledge of print processes, dielines, materials, and manufacturing methods
• Background in consumer goods packaging; toy or baby product experience preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organization skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• A creative mindset with a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities
• Multilingual abilities, experience with tradeshows, licensed brands and licensor approvals is a plus

This is a contract, working onsite in the Fort Lauderdale area, FL. Remote work is not available. Pay range is $40-50/hr.
