About the Role

In the role of Packaging Data Technician, you will be joining an established shared service centre in Gurgaon focussing on supporting the management of packaging data and technical specifications across multiple materials. Working with internal teams and external packaging partners, you will operate in a back-office environment to maintain accurate packaging databases, assist in data collection, and support technical documentation.

You will be able to have hybrid working, where the work pattern will allow for 2 days working from home, 3 in the office and full-time European aligned hours.

Some typical day to day tasks will cover:

• Assist in collecting and recording packaging specifications from customers, suppliers, and the internal packaging development team.
• Check and verify received files (specifications, CAD, PDFs, Excel sheets, etc.) against quality standards with guidance from senior team members.
• Upload, classify, and organise approved files in the agreed database/system.
• Support in consolidating and categorizing customer data.
• Assist in preparing and anonymizing data for RFQ processes.
• Provide technical data support for procurement and other functions.
• Monitor and maintain KPIs related to packaging data accuracy and timelines.

About You

This role could be a great fit for you if you have a background in packaging and have a keen eye for detail. You will also have excellent communication skills to deal with a wide range of global stakeholders. As a result, it is essential that you have fluent verbal and written English language skills.

Skills and attributes for success

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in multi material packaging is essential.
• Experience of using CAD, Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office including proficiency in Excel.

• Knowledge of different material substrates and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read, understand and if needed, create technical drawings & specifications.

• Experience in data management.
