Job Description

Job Purpose
Global Packaging Procurement team through the execution of tactical and operational procurement activities. The role ensures continuity of supply, data accuracy, supplier performance, and effective coordination between procurement, quality, planning, operations, and suppliers.
The position combines category support responsibilities with day-to-day procurement execution, including purchase requisition management, ERP master data maintenance, supplier communication, quality issue resolution, reporting, and support of sourcing and supplier management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

    • Operational Procurement Support for Valencia, Amsterdam, Poland and Turkey
  • Manage and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and support Purchase Order (PO) activities in accordance with procurement policies and business requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of packaging materials and services.
  • Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery schedules, and supply issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Support urgent operational requirements and expedite deliveries when necessary.
    • ERP Master Data Management for Valencia, Amsterdam, Poland and Turkey
  • Maintain and update packaging-related master data within ERP systems, including:
    • Purchase prices
    • Quality information records
    • Vendor master data
    • Material master data
    • Category classifications and reporting structures
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across procurement systems.
  • Support Power BI reporting structures and supplier risk management data maintenance
    • Supplier & Contract Administration for Valencia, Amsterdam, Poland and Turkey
  • Support Category Managers in sourcing activities including RFQs, RFPs, supplier onboarding, and bid analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, contracts, supplier agreements, and approval workflows.
  • Coordinate contract signature processes and ensure proper filing and compliance.
  • Maintain approved supplier records and relevant procurement documentation.
    • Quality & Claims Management for Valencia, Amsterdam, Poland and Turkey
  • Act as the primary procurement contact for packaging quality complaints.
  • Coordinate investigations with Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and suppliers.
  • Manage supplier claims, returns, replacement material requests, and credit note recovery.
  • Monitor corrective actions and ensure timely resolution to minimize operational disruptions.
    • Supplier Performance & Relationship Support for Valencia, Amsterdam, Poland and Turkey
  • Support supplier performance reviews and business review meetings.
  • Collect and analyze supplier performance data related to quality, service, delivery, and cost.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for supplier meetings and category reviews.
  • Assist in maintaining strong supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with ADM standards.
    • Category & Project Support for Valencia, Amsterdam, Poland and Turkey
  • Support packaging qualification projects by coordinating supplier documentation and cross-functional follow-up with Quality, Regulatory, R&D/CD&D, Operations, and Supply Chain.
  • Assist Category Managers in implementing cost-saving initiatives and procurement projects.
  • Support the creation, tracking, and maintenance of procurement savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage selected local and regional packaging spend categories under the guidance of the Category Manager.
  • Reporting & Analytics for Valencia, Amsterdam, Poland and Turkey Generate procurement reports covering spend, supplier performance, savings, price evolution, and operational KPIs.
  • Analyze procurement and supplier data to support tactical and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide regular reporting to Category Managers and key stakeholders

Your Profile
    • Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Understanding of supplier management, quality processes, and contract administration.

Education & Experience

    • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • CIPS or equivalent procurement qualification is an advantage.
    • Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or category support roles.
  • Experience in packaging procurement, manufacturing, food, ingredients, or FMCG environments preferred.
  • Experience managing ERP master data, supplier communications, and operational procurement processes.
  • Exposure to quality claim management and supplier performance management is beneficial.

Languages

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Spanish required.
  • Additional European languages are considered an advantage.
