Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Huntsville, AL is looking for a Packaging Trainee with a proven track record to join our team. We are the leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings. We are the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Schedule 3rd Shift | 2-2-3 Schedule | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts (including weekends and holidays)
• Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test
• Computer and mechanical ability preferred
• Excellent safety and attendance record

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned

• Identify and separate poor quality parts.
• Pack molded parts in boxes.
• Lift and carry full boxes of parts from molding machine to pallet (approx. 2 ft.)
• Label boxes
• Assemble molded parts.
• Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards.
• Barcode Parts correctly
• Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform all job duties.
• Work effectively and efficiently with coworkers
• Productively receive information from Material Handlers regarding work related information
• Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
