Job Title: Packager

Location: Onsite – Packaging Warehouse - Mishawaka, IN

Pay Range: $17.50 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, First Shift

Packager Overview:

The Packager handles to package parts and kits in accordance with customer specifications and work orders. This role requires the application of packaging, quality, safety, and basic technical skills to ensure productivity, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Packager Key Responsibilities:

• Package automotive parts and kits in accordance with work orders and customer requirements.
• Use and perform upkeep on packaging tools such as staple guns and tape guns.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow all company rules, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Identify damaged, defective, or non-conforming materials and report problems.
• Meet productivity and performance goals

Packager Core Skills:

1. Packaging Accuracy & Order Fulfillment

• Package parts and kits correctly and on time
• Match part numbers and labels accurately

1. Quality Awareness

• Notice damaged, missing, or non-conforming parts
• Compare labels and part numbers to work orders
• Follow packaging instructions carefully

1. Equipment & Tool Handling

• Safely use packaging tools such as scanners, staple guns, tape machines
• Can perform basic computer tasks such as logging and using split screens

1. Safety & Workplace Organization

• Demonstrated ability to follow all safety rules and procedures
• Keep workstations clean, neat, and sad

1. Basic Math & Reading

• Recognize letters and numbers
• Count parts accurately

1. Communication & Teamwork

• Ability to communicate errors and issues to team leads and quality department
• Can share suggestions and ideas for improvement
• Basic English language skills or willingness to learn

Packager Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to provide own steel-toed shoes
• Reliable transportation
• Basic English language skills or willingness to learn
• Dependable in repetitive and physical work
