Job Description

Sedgman and HOCHTIEF Infrastructure have been appointed as the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management contractor for Vulcan’s Lionheart Project, delivering an end-to-end solution for the Lithium Extraction Plant and Central Lithium Plant.

This marks an exciting chapter in our growth as we support major critical raw materials projects. Our team is at the forefront of delivering innovative, sustainable engineering solutions that drive the energy transition across Europe.

To support our growth, we’re looking for a site-based Package Manager - Siemens to join our team in Höchst on a contract basis.

As the Package Manager - Siemens, you will be responsible for:

  • Act as the primary interface for all Siemens package related activities with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and the client.
  • Manage and oversee Siemens package activities to achieve required technical and quality outcomes.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, and requisitions for Siemens supplied equipment and systems.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and conduct technical bid evaluations in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with vendors on design reviews, document approvals, FATs, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.
  • Support construction and commissioning teams with technical clarifications and field coordination.
  • Monitor package progress, logistics, risks, and mitigation plans, escalating issues as required.
  • Ensure effective integration of the Siemens package with electrical, instrumentation, automation, mechanical, and process systems.

You are an experienced Package Manager with the following qualifications and background:

  • Tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years’ proven experience as a Package Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role on EPCM / ECI / major projects
  • Direct experience managing Siemens packages, such as automation, electrical, control systems, or integrated engineered solutions
  • Strong understanding of engineering workflows, vendor management, and site delivery
  • Ability to manage complex interfaces across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
  • Strong communication and leadership skills in a multidisciplinary project environment
