Job Description

Summary

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. People here don't just create products — they build the kind of wonder that's revolutionised entire industries. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that encourages the innovation that runs through everything we do.

Pacific Operations is a group based in Singapore, responsible for the Finished Goods supply chain across every route to market in the Pacific countries. From upstream product compliance and launch planning through to supply and demand management, channel partner operations, and physical logistics with our 3PL partners — the team ensures Apple products reach customers efficiently across a fast-growing region.

We are looking for analytical, forward-thinking interns to join Pacific Operations on a six-month engagement, with genuine ownership from day one. Depending on your background and interests, you may be placed in one of the following functions:

  • Product Launch Readiness (PLR) — Operations Readiness. Align cross-functional teams on product launch strategy — timing, volume, and channel coverage — and track execution to keep launches on plan. You'll be a key point of contact during launch health reviews and checkpoints, crafting detailed execution plans and driving risks to resolution.
  • Product Launch Readiness (PLR) — System Readiness. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) launches with regional cross-functional teams, ensuring priority units are delivered according to plan of record and supporting product marketing events and sales enablement — while helping design workflow automation using Generative AI and advanced analytics.
  • Supply & Demand Management (SDM) Planning Analyse demand and secure supply across all of Apple's routes to market — Apple Online Store, Apple Retail, and Reseller channels — working alongside experienced planners to evaluate demand, optimise supply, and deliver operational plans that support regional business objectives.
  • Retail Fulfilment Operations (RFO) Shape how the team captures, organises and accesses operational knowledge for Apple's direct route-to-market fulfilment (Online/Retail Stores), partnering with subject matter experts and exploring AI/ML capabilities to make knowledge management more scalable.

If you are curious, technically minded, and energised by using data and technology to solve real operational problems, this is for you. You will work alongside experienced supply chain professionals, build real program management experience and supply chain knowledge through your exposure to the breadth of Apple Operations, and sharpen your communication and problem-solving skills working alongside senior leadership.

Description

We are looking for multiple positions across the functions so the specific of each role will be shared further in the recruitment process. However below are some of the common highlights across all the roles:

  • Manage a specific workstream : supply or demand plans for a given product, support a new product introduction from system or operational readiness perspective, identify knowledge management processes across a function
  • In all of these roles, you will have a clear identified set of independant responsibilities to take action on
  • You will be working across cross-functional teams — Supply Demand Management, Logistics, Reseller Operations, Retail Fulfilment Ops, and Product Launch Readiness
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in your roles by leveraging on the GenAI toolkit made available
  • Build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams at every level, presenting clearly and influencing without formal authority

Preferred Qualifications

Prior exposure to NPI/product launches, program management, demand forecasting, inventory management, production control, or MRP/ERP concepts

Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, fulfilment, or operations environments

Interest or experience in emerging technology — Generative AI, automation, or advanced analytics — applied to operational problems

Experience working in fast-paced, matrix, or ambiguous organisational environments

A self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity — able to scope problems independently, balance multiple workstreams, and propose practical solutions

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Master's programme, preferably business-oriented (e.g. MBA, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related discipline)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to present technical work to non-technical stakeholders

2–3 years of prior professional experience in operations, supply chain, program management, data, analytics, or a related field, with a strong academic record

Strong data analysis and numeric skills, with comfort managing large datasets (advanced Excel; proficiency in business-oriented programming or automation environments a plus)

Aptitude to clearly present a thought process and influence without formal authority

Capacity to deliver quality results under tight timelines and high pressure in highly ambiguous, fast-paced environments

Sharp eye for detail and bias for action
