
The Physician Assistant (First Assist) or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with RNFA utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The First Assist Physician Assistant oNurse Practitioner with RNFA works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs. First Assist experience is required.

Position will support a General Surgery team and provide perioperative coverage across multidisciplinary surgical services. The position would primarily support General Surgery, with coverage and first-assist responsibilities across additional surgical services as needed, including Vascular Surgery, Urology/Gyn, Plastic Surgery, ENT, Orthopedic Surgery.
The proposed schedule would be:
4 days per week, 10 hour shifts
One 14-hour call shift per week
One weekend call per month
Additional call opportunities per need and availability
