Job Description

The P2P Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day governance and performance oversight of our outsourced Source-to-Pay (STP) operations. The role ensures the BPO partner delivers against agreed SLAs and performance indicators, drives structured escalation and root-cause resolution of operational issues, and safeguards process control and compliance. Starting with EMEA, the role is designed to scale toward global P2P governance.

Key Responsibilities

Performance & Metrics Monitoring

• Own the STP performance dashboard across processes (AP, blocked & held, IDOCs, disputes, T&E, vendor master data).
• Track SLA / CPI / KPI performance against targets; validate metric definitions and underlying data sources.
• Prepare inputs for monthly Service Delivery Reviews and leadership reporting.

Governance & Escalation

• Own the escalation framework for blocked/held invoices and operational issues, ensuring the BPO partner follows the defined escalation ladder.
• Run the recurring governance cadence (bi-weekly / monthly reviews) with the outsourced provider.
• Maintain RACI and escalation matrices across processes.

Root-Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Lead monthly exception reviews: Pareto analysis by cause, recurrence rate, and ownership.
• Drive upstream process fixes in partnership with Procurement, Local Finance and the COE, applying problem-solving methodology (PSP / DMAIC).
• Monitor requestor responsiveness and other business-driven bottlenecks as tracked KPIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance

• Act as the single point of contact between the retained organization and the outsourced provider for delivery and governance topics.
• Ensure alignment with SOX and internal audit requirements; provide remediation evidence and documentation.
• Support automation of governance and reporting (Power Automate / Power BI).

Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures Support

• Support P2P process continuity during M&A, carve-outs and divestitures (e.g. TSA exits, legal entity integrations, ERP migrations).
• Ensure controls, escalation and service delivery remain stable through organizational and system change.
• Coordinate with Local Finance, COE and transformation teams to align P2P operations with integration / separation timelines.
