P1 – Project Manager (Expert)

Location: Brussels

Duration: Until 31 August 2027
Workload: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead infrastructure and development projects within a public-sector environment. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in project management methodologies, risk and issue management, and project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead and coordinate infrastructure and development projects.
• 
  Manage project planning, risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholders.
• 
  Apply project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK
• 
  Provide expert guidance and knowledge transfer on project management practices.
• 
  Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders.
• 
  Maintain project documentation, reporting and planning.
• 
  Support projects using Agile/Scrum and ITIL practices where applicable.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure or development projects.
• 
  Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, OneNote and SharePoint
• 
  Strong knowledge of PRINCE2/PMBOK and project management processes.
• 
  Experience with risk and issue management
• 15+ years of PRINCE2 and Scrum experience preferred.
• 
  Knowledge and experience with ITIL
• 
  Knowledge of MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel
• 
  Experience within the Flemish Government is preferred.
• 
  Knowledge of stakeholders and actors within Flemish Social Protection is preferred.
• Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2) is mandatory.
