About the Role
We are looking for an experienced ICT Architect (Expert) to support critical digital projects within the banking department.
You will play a key role in designing and guiding complex IT architectures across multiple projects, working closely with development teams and program management. This role requires both deep technical expertise and strong architectural vision, within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and oversee architecture across applications, infrastructure, and data domains
Collaborate with program managers and development teams on project planning and delivery
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and system standards
Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple projects
Contribute to Agile Scrum processes, including planning and continuous delivery
Ensure quality standards, documentation, and proper handover
Share expertise through knowledge transfer and feedback sessions
Project Context
You will primarily contribute to key digital initiatives, including:

Field Monitoring Application (TOA) – inspection planning and tracking system

Sampling Application (SNAPP 2.0) – soil sampling and analysis tracking for farmers
Integration projects within the Flemish enforcement framework
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 8 years' experience as an ICT/Enterprise Architect or Specialist Architect
Strong expertise in at least one domain: application, infrastructure, security, data, or process architecture
Extensive experience with:

Angular (2+) & TypeScript

NET / C# / ASP.NET Core

MS SQL Server

Entity Framework / NHibernate

Kendo UI
Experience with RabbitMQ (minimum 5 years)
Strong knowledge of modeling frameworks (TOGAF, Archimate, UML, Sparx EA)
Understanding of project management principles (planning, cost, coordination)

Fluent Dutch (C2 level – CEFR)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in public/government sector
Knowledge of Azure DevOps & Application Insights
Experience with unit and integration testing
Familiarity with GIS development
Experience with responsive/mobile design
Knowledge of agriculture/manure policy regulations (a plus)
