Calling all ocean lovers with hands-on skills! We’re in search of a person with a strong connection to the marine environment to assist with current workload. This is a full time role.

ABOUT THE JOB

Your work activities will include:

Land-based activities:

Grading and preparation of oysters for market/transport.

Stripping oyster slats.

Loading/unloading oyster punts.

Packing, constructing baskets and oyster racking.

Operating and maintaining farm mechanical equipment.

Facility maintenance and cleaning the farm shed.

On-water activities:

Cultivating, seeding and harvesting oysters.

Aquaculture and oyster husbandry.

Maintaining oyster leases, baskets and other infrastructure.

Vessel handling, maintenance and deck duties.

Do you hold drivers, forklift licences and a Coxswain grade 3 near coastal?

If you answered yes to the above, we want to hear from you. While these qualifications and experiences are preferred, we welcome applications from people with various backgrounds and experiences. So, if you don’t meet all the criteria but possess the passion and dedication to learn and grow in the oyster industry, we still want to hear from you.

Please note that a Drivers Licence is essential for the commute to and from our farm.
