What will you be doing:
This position’s main objective is to keep flow and quality of oxygen prescriptions updated and accurate by monitoring all requirements guidelines and requirements. Obtains and reviews appropriate documentation such as prescriptions, Certificates of Medical Necessity, progress notes, etc. to ensure all Medicare guidelines and regulations are met. Review patient’s insurance eligibility for DME. Ensures maintaining compliance standards set forth by Medicare and Medicaid. Runs daily billing reports to determine which account need updates with current billing Brightree. Reviews rejected claims report and correct claims for refiling. Works on medical review, appeals and reconsideration as needed.
