About the Company
A boutique owner representation and design firm, their core business rests on representing Owners throughout their journey of designing and building their home.
Each member of the team has worked for general contractors, design firms, and developers. Each brings real-life expertise to the residential development process, from land purchase and permitting to punch-list and move-in. They are acutely aware of the challenges, and joys, that come with building in unique environments.
The work is architecturally significant. The team is tight-knit by design. They run on Notion, Claude, Google Workspace, and CompanyCam, and the stack is growing.
As an Owner’s Representative, you are the primary operational presence for a portfolio of architecturally significant residential projects. You guide the Owner every step of the way. You work across Clients, architects, contractors, and consultants.
The organization is flat. Ownership is high. The person who thrives here is a creative problem solver. They have navigated complex, confusing situations and tried different approaches. They pair technical insight with clear, approachable communication. They help Clients and the design team make confident decisions. They keep design intent and construction realities aligned. They create a process that is organized, transparent, and technically sound.
Work Environment
Hybrid. Approximately two site visits per week throughout the greater Salt Lake metro area. The balance splits between office and remote. Mileage is reimbursed. Schedule flexes with what projects need. Reliable personal transportation is required.
Key Outcomes
In 12 months, the founders should be focused on firm growth, client relationships, and design leadership, not day-to-day project logistics. You become the person clients, contractors, and architects go to first, because they trust you to handle it.
Own day-to-day representation
Communicate so clients never have to ask
A client who has to ask where their project stands is a client who is already quietly frustrated. Trust is the key currency; your communication is what earns it.
Keep schedules and budgets accurate and alive
Own the draw and invoicing process
Cash flow is confidence. Clients trust firms that handle billing with precision. Contractors trust processes that pay them accurately and on schedule.
Make internal tools and systems stronger

Hiring in construction is not a paperwork task.
It’s a legacy decision.
Ambassador Group is a construction executive search boutique for (mostly) West Coast SMEs. We partner with owners, COOs, and operations leaders at firms between 25–200 employees who care more about the right leader than the fastest hire.
Our clients build custom residential, commercial, industrial, and specialty projects. They come to us when they’re tired of rushed headhunting, shallow vetting, and leaders who look good on paper but can’t carry the culture.
We call our work professional matchmaking over rushed headhunting. Instead of blasting job boards, we quietly approach off-market construction leaders who are already delivering results. We slow down early, so you can move faster and with more confidence later.
Roles we most often place:
• Senior Project Managers
• Superintendents and General Superintendents
• Operations and Division Leaders
• Estimating and preconstruction leaders
Our process mirrors a well-built project. Clear definition of the role and culture. A disciplined structure for sourcing, interviewing, and debriefing. A thoughtful finish with onboarding and integration support. No shortcuts. No guessing.
We stay involved after the “yes.” We check in at 30, 60, 100 days, and one year to support both sides of the relationship and make sure the match holds under real-world pressure. Most clients work with us again and again as they grow.
If you’re a construction leader who wants humble, hungry, and emotionally smart people on your team—and you’re ready to treat hiring as seriously as your projects—let’s talk. Book an exploratory call and we’ll walk through your upcoming leadership needs and where your current process is helping or hurting you.
