Job Role

The Overseas Investment Manager (Industrial Gas) is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing international investment opportunities within the industrial gas sector. This role focuses on overseas business expansion through strategic investments, market analysis, commercial due diligence, financial modeling, and cross-border project execution.

Working closely with internal technical, legal, finance, and executive teams, the successful candidate will lead investment evaluations, coordinate cross-functional project execution, manage external advisors, and support the successful delivery of overseas investment initiatives across multiple international markets.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct research on industrial policies, investment regulations, and market developments related to the industrial gas sector across target international markets.

  • Analyze country-specific investment environments, foreign investment regulations, political and commercial risks, and prepare comprehensive market intelligence reports.

  • Identify and pursue strategic overseas investment opportunities that support the organization's international business expansion objectives.

  • Lead commercial due diligence, feasibility studies, and investment evaluations for industrial gas projects.

  • Prepare investment proposals, business cases, commercial agreements, and supporting documentation for internal approval processes.

  • Develop financial models, perform profitability assessments, valuation analyses, and investment risk evaluations.

  • Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, and technical teams throughout project negotiations, transaction execution, and investment closing processes.

  • Coordinate with external advisors, including law firms, consulting firms, financial institutions, and government agencies, to support overseas investment activities, company establishment, and regulatory approvals.

  • Participate in commercial negotiations, contract execution, project handovers, and ongoing stakeholder relationship management.

  • Monitor competitor activities, industry developments, and global market trends to support strategic investment planning and decision-making.


Candidate Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, International Business, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience in overseas investment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), international business development, corporate strategy, or investment management.

  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, investment analysis, project valuation, commercial due diligence, and risk assessment methodologies.

  • Experience within the industrial gas, energy, engineering, industrial manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with industrial gas technologies, air separation plants, engineering projects, or related industrial processes is considered an advantage.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to assess macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, regulatory environments, and investment risks.

  • Excellent commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.

  • Strong business writing and presentation skills with experience preparing investment reports and executive-level proposals.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory.

  • Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis to support overseas investment projects and business development activities.
