Key Responsibilities

Analyse business and technical requirements to design effective test scenarios

Create and execute test cases test plans and test scripts manual andor automated

Perform functional regression integration system and UAT testing

Log track and verify defects using defectmanagement tools

Collaborate with developers product owners and other stakeholders to resolve issues

Participate actively in AgileScrum ceremonies daily standups sprint planning retrospectives

Validate fixes conduct retesting and support release signoff activities

Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices

Provide test status updates and quality metrics to stakeholders

Required Skills Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience

25 years of experience in software testing for midlevel roles adaptable for juniorsenior

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC

Experience with manual testing and test case design techniques

Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools eg JIRA TestRail ALM

Experience working in AgileScrum environments

Good analytical and problemsolving skills

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred NicetoHave Skills

Test automation experience Selenium Cypress Playwright Appium etc

API testing experience Postman RESTAssured etc

Basic knowledge of SQLdatabases

CICD exposure and integration testing experience

Domain experience eg OTTStreaming Finance Ecommerce

Ability to work independently and in crossfunctional teams

Willingness to learn new tools technologies and domains
