Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure Cloud)
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud, automation, and modern CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will lead cloud infrastructure initiatives, automate end‑to‑end delivery pipelines, and support scalable microservices environments using industry‑standard DevOps tooling.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & DevOps Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain GitHub CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Configure and manage multi‑stage pipelines supporting complex application delivery workflows.
• Implement automation solutions using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and cloud‑native tools.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) / Configuration as Code (CaC)

• Develop and maintain scalable cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform optional).
• Implement Configuration as Code for consistent environment setup and configuration.

Cloud Infrastructure (Azure)

• Architect, deploy, and manage infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including:
  • Virtual networks, compute resources
  • Storage and database services
  • Monitoring, logging, identity, and security features
• Ensure best practices for availability, performance, and cost optimization.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker
• Deploy and operate AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure for microservices‑based workloads.

Scripting & Automation

• Develop automation scripts in Bash, PowerShell, and Python
• Create and maintain YAML configurations for pipelines, deployments, and configuration files.

Operations & Troubleshooting

• Monitor system health and performance across distributed systems.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues across CI/CD, cloud services, and Kubernetes clusters.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in a DevOps engineering role, with specialization in Azure Cloud
• Strong proficiency in GitHub pipelines and Azure DevOps automation.
• Hands‑on experience with IaC and CaC frameworks.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in cloud, pipeline, and microservices environments.

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)
• Understanding of DevSecOps, policy‑as‑code, and cloud security practices
