Provides basic maintenance of records and customer service to vendors, customers and other internal functions regarding shipments to or from UM.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys working the night shift and takes pride in maintaining a strong work ethic while working independently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable, with the ability to work with minimal supervision while supporting a collaborative team environment. Core competencies for this role include professionalism, reliability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Candidates should possess basic computer skills and be comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook, as well as Windows 11, with the ability to quickly learn additional proprietary applications. The successful candidate must also be eligible to obtain Canadian security clearance, including the completion of a 10-year background check

Shift Requirement

  • Must be able to work nights from 10:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday

  • Every second week, Thursday will be off (9 × 9-hour shifts per pay period).

  • This position is strictly a night shift and will not transition to a day shift

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the overnight production line by ensuring required materials are available to keep production running smoothly, including:

    • Monitoring material levels on the production floor and issuing materials using the automated replenishment process.

    • Assisting production staff in obtaining materials from the warehouse as required.

    • Notifying responsible stakeholder of inventory system errors

  • Organize and put away stock received by the Receiving team during the day shift.

  • Provide overflow support on various warehouse tasks, including:

    • Receiving urgent items remaining from the day shift.

    • Order fulfillment.

    • Label printing.

  • Send communications to material owners advising that items have been received and are ready for pickup, including follow-up as required.

  • Maintain the Power Outage Log

  • Record and communicate any issues to the warehouse charge hand.

Typically, a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 1+ years of related experience.
